Driveways, small roads and small parking lots
We deliver & spread recycled asphalt grindings that come from city streets & highways. The material is spread to an average depth of 4 inches, giving plenty of material to allow for compaction. Asphalt Grindings compact at a rate of 25%, meaning that a 4 inch depth should give a 3 inch surface after compaction. Typical secondary highways are paved using around 5 inches (of asphalt), with the idea that they will support the repeated weight of 18-wheel logging trucks as well as hundreds if not thousands of automobiles each day. Should you decide to use our services, your road or driveway will have in the neighborhood of 80% of the asphalt that it takes to pave a secondary highway, such as "97" that goes around the east side of Lake CdA, or most any secondary road.

Please keep in mind that hot paving is the best way to lay asphalt, and that asphalt grindings are just that, grindings. When first laid, they will resemble black gravel, but as soon as we roll it, the surface will become compacted, leaving a relatively smooth and definitely strong surface.

Requirements
The surface of the area you would like to "ColdPave" needs to be (minimally) hard and drained. We need to have a surface that has been driven on for a few years or if in the case of new construction you'll need to have a good base of crushed rock spread and compacted prior to our delivering material to your site. The idea is that the strength of any material, concrete, hot asphalt or cold is entirely dependent on the underlying layer. 1. Give us a call! We'll give you a relative price, based on square footage and your location. If the price sounds reasonable to you, we will come to your location, provide a survey and give you a formal quote.

2. If you decide to use our services, we will have you sign our documentation and we will need a 50% down payment. The remainder is due at completion of your job.
